Co-locate to Collaborate!
It was a pleasure to be a guest on the Global Coworking Unconference Conference (GCUC) podcast with the wonderful Liz Elam. The session was a lively discussion of co-locating childcare with coworking in residential neighbourhoods.
We discussed the prefix ‘co-’ as so powerful for making space for collaboration and that situating childcare adjacent to coworking for parents is a very simple model that also helps inform iterations where other services are also on-site. Co-location with health provision, educational support, legal or practical facilities, and of course, elder care, are all conversations we’re having with various entrepreneurs, academics and policymakers.
Have a listen and do get in touch to discuss more ways we can prototype the model and share our learnings about its potential.
“Co-located coworking isn’t just a clever design solution, it’s a social innovation.
It challenges outdated systems, uplifts caregivers, and models a better world for the next generation.”
